As winter comes to an end and spring begins to bloom, it’s time to start thinking about hitting the road in your RV. But before you pack up and head out, it’s essential to give your home on wheels a thorough spring cleaning.
Whether you’re a full-time RVer or just taking a weekend trip, a clean and organized RV will make your journey more enjoyable.
Here’s a comprehensive RV spring cleaning checklist to help you get started.
1. Start with the Exterior
Any spring cleaning checklist should begin outside as the first step. Examine the outside of your RV and give it a thorough cleaning. To remove any filth, grime, or lingering winter road salt, use a power washer. Don’t forget to clean your outside chairs and the awning.
Next, look around the property for any damage that might have occurred during the winter and make any required repairs.
2. Tackle the Interior
It’s time to move inside once the outside has been cleaned. Start by sorting and decluttering all of your possessions. Examine each cabinet and drawer, then throw away everything you no longer use.
Then, wipe down all surfaces, including countertops, cabinets, and tables. Vacuum or sweep the floors and dust any hard-to-reach areas.
3. Deep Clean the Kitchen
The kitchen is one of the most used areas of your RV, so it’s important to give it a thorough cleaning. Start by emptying and cleaning out the refrigerator and freezer. Wipe down all surfaces, including the sink, stove, and countertops.
Don’t forget to clean the oven and microwave as well. Finally, restock your kitchen with fresh food and supplies.
4. Refresh the Bathroom
The bathroom is another important area that requires attention. Start by emptying and cleaning out the shower, sink, and toilet. Wipe down all surfaces, including the walls and floors. Replace any old or worn towels and restock your bathroom with fresh toiletries.
5. Check the Appliances
Your RV has several appliances that may need maintenance before hitting the road. Check the water heater, air conditioner, and furnace to ensure they are working correctly. Don’t forget to check your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector as well.
6. Test Your RV’s Systems
Before heading out on your trip, test your RV’s electrical and plumbing systems. Check that all lights are working correctly and that there are no leaks in the plumbing system.
7. Don’t Forget the Exterior Accessories
Your RV has several exterior accessories that require attention. Check the tires, brakes, and lights to ensure they are working correctly. Don’t forget to check the propane tanks and refill them as necessary.

Take all food out of the fridge and place it in a refrigerator with ice packs or in a fridge in another room. This is important to avoid cross-contamination.
Step 2: Clean the Interior
After you have emptied the refrigerator, you can proceed to clean the interior. Remove the shelves and drawers and wash them with dish soap and warm water. Clean the inside of the refrigerator with a clean cloth and a vinegar solution.
After cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, you can leave the house. Use a sponge and dish soap to clean the outside of the refrigerator. Clean the handles, doors, and top of the refrigerator.
Don’t forget to clean the coils at the back of the fridge. Coils can collect dust and affect refrigerator performance.
Step 4: Maintain the Cleanliness
You can use baking soda to keep your fridge clean. Baking soda is a natural deodorant that can absorb odors. Place an open box of baking soda in the fridge to absorb odors. Replace every three months for optimal freshness.
Cleaning your refrigerator is an important task that should be done regularly for a better kitchen. With these tips and tricks, you can clean your refrigerator quickly and easily. Remember to prepare the right tools and materials, clean inside and out, and keep the fridge clean.
Use a Toothbrush:To clean the corners and crevices of your refrigerator, use an old toothbrush. It’s a terrific approach to access those challenging locations.
Don’t Forget the Freezer: Over time, frost and ice can build up in the freezer. Defrost your freezer on a regular basis to avoid ice accumulation.
Organize Your Fridge: After cleaning, arrange the food to make the most of the available space and avoid clutter. Place objects that are comparable together in the proper compartments.
Check Expiry Dates: Examine the food’s expiration dates while clearing out your refrigerator. Any expired products should be taken out and properly disposed of.

Until you finally have a lawn that suddenly seems to need more attention, you will never know how many questions you have about lawn care. Why does your grass die when the neighbor’s grass looks so strong and healthy?
When is the appropriate time to mow the lawn?
In this guide to mowing your lawn, we’ll give you the answers to this question, as well as everything else you need to know about maintaining a healthy lawn without too much fuss.
Over Spring: Make the first lawn mowing of the year in the spring, in mid-March. From there, mow your lawn at least once a week. Try to keep your lawn the same height throughout the spring. For most lawns, the ideal height would be 1-1.5 inches (2.5 to 4 cm).
However, for those who suffer a lot of wear and tear, do your best to keep the grass raised to about 2 inches (5.1 cm) high. If part of your lawn is shaded, keep the grass at a height of 7.5 cm (3 inches). Also, avoid cutting your grass too short, as that can weaken it and allow weeds and moss to run rampant.
Over Summer: When summer comes around the corner, double the cutoff frequency. Mow biweekly (twice a week) on average, reducing only to weekly, during dry spells. As for the trimmer settings, raise the trimmer blades a bit in hot weather.
Longer grass is better adapted to drought and maintains its most vibrant colors. It is also stronger and less prone to wear and tear. In dry weeks, cut only a few stalks of longer grass to stimulate growth and keep it nice and healthy.
Over Autumn: With shorter and shorter days and colder temperatures, the grass will start to grow more slowly. This means that the grass will need to be cut less, less frequently. So when fall comes, do the same as in spring, mow the lawn, once a week.
However, be sure to raise the height of the mower blades as winter approaches. Fall is usually the season when you will make your last cut.
Over Winter: Unless the weather is warm and the grass is still growing, there is usually no need to mow the lawn in winter. If this is the case, it may need to be trimmed occasionally, but it can only be done in a high-cut setting.
However, if the ground conditions are too soft or icy, please avoid doing so. Do not prune wet or frosty grass, as this will compact the soil and damage your turf. Wait until the lawn is dry before mowing.
Proper lawn mowing requires care and planning.
If done well, you can get a lush and beautiful lawn that looks healthy. Mowing is only a small part of lawn care, but our lawn care experts understand Dawson Creek’s soil, common lawn problems, and specialize in plant care. Contact us today!
Baking soda has long been used to clean refrigerators. They are effective cleaners that you already have in your kitchen and will not contaminate your refrigerator.
Baking soda and vinegar both have powerful, food-safe cleaning properties, so you can use them separately or in combination to remove spills and stains from the various surfaces of your refrigerator. Let’s look at some of the methods recommended by PB Cleaning 247.
Getting Started
It goes without saying that emptying the fridge completely is the first step to a thorough cleaning. If you’re working in the fridge, have an empty garbage bag handy to dispose of anything that’s expired or otherwise unusable. You can also use a small refrigerator to chill milk or prescription medication.
Since this project shouldn’t take more than an hour, most items like condiments and groceries will fit on the counter. However, if your kitchen is hot or you expect to take cleaning breaks, it might be a good idea to use a perishable fridge.
After emptying the refrigerator, remove all drawers and pull-outs. If they are plastic, they can be washed immediately. However, allow the glass shelves or drawers to warm to room temperature before washing the glass shelves or drawers, as hot water running over cold glass could break it.
Cleaning a Fridge With Bicarbonate of Baking Soda
Removing encrusted food particles and reducing unpleasant odors should be done after cleaning the refrigerator with baking soda. You can try sprinkling baking soda on a damp sponge and using the sponge to scrape the baking soda paste off the walls, floor, and interior doors instead of trying to sprinkle it on the vertical walls of the refrigerator.
If the sponge cake is dry, moisten it again and add more baking soda. To remove the residual baking soda, use a clean, damp sponge or wet paper towel.
Your fridge cleaning schedule may also include vinegar, but this is optional. It may leave a vinegar smell in the fridge for several days after use. If you don’t mind, dissolving stains and killing bacteria with vinegar is a simple process. Spray the inside surfaces of the refrigerator with a mixture of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water that you put in your spray bottle. Use a damp cloth or sponge to remove the solution.
The effervescent reaction created by mixing vinegar and baking soda can help remove even the most stubborn food stains. To scrub these problem areas, try using a sponge dusted with baking soda and dipped in vinegar.
Cleaning Drawers and Shelves
Cleaning removable shelves and drawers can be accomplished in a variety of ways. To clean and sterilize them, simply wash them in the sink with dish soap and warm water, or place them in your dishwasher and run a detergent cycle.
If the pieces are too large to fit in your sink or dishwasher, place them on a counter and clean them with a moist paper towel and a little dish soap. After that, wipe away any remaining soap with a clean, damp towel. To remove sticky or dried-on spots on removable fridge parts, sprinkle baking soda on them and scrape with a sponge or cloth dampened with vinegar.
Cleaning Fridge Doors and Deodorizing
Save yourself the hassle of cleaning the outside of the fridge at the end. Wipe the door with a cloth dampened with soapy water or spray with a vinegar solution, then wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
Take a moment to admire a perfectly clean and shiny fridge, then get to work cleaning up any potentially smelly or leaking food and drink. Place a shallow bowl of baking soda in the refrigerator to prevent new flavors from forming.
At least some of the odor molecules should stick to the baking soda and not to the fridge walls or other foods. Alternatively, place the activated charcoal packet in a small cloth bag in the refrigerator. Activated charcoal’s ability to absorb odors is unique.
Your daily checklist
There are a few things you can do every day to reduce the need for a thorough cleaning.
Make sure to clean up spills as soon as possible. If you leave that puddle of beetroot juice alone for too long, it will harden and stain.
Avoid storing anything sticky or saucy in the fridge. Before putting that tomato sauce bottle or maple syrup jar back in the fridge, wipe it down.
To avoid odors circulating, keep lids on bottles and jars, meet wrapped or covered, and cheeses nicely packed.
Remove any food that has passed its expiration date.
Wipe down the doors, inner doors, and handles once a week or so with a damp cloth and mild dishwashing liquid and water.
When it comes to maintaining the cleanliness of your trailer, regular cleaning may not be enough. Sometimes, you need a deep clean to remove stubborn dirt and grime that has accumulated over time.
At PB Cleaning 247, we specialize in deep-cleaning trailers to ensure that they are in tip-top condition. In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the steps we take to
Deep clean trailers and keep them looking their best.
Step 1: Inspection
The first step in deep cleaning a trailer is to inspect it thoroughly. This involves identifying areas that require special attention, such as the kitchen, bathroom, and living area. We also look for any stains or dirt buildup that may be difficult to remove.
Step 2: Preparation
Before we begin deep cleaning the trailer, we ensure that all surfaces are clear of any items or debris. This includes removing any loose items such as cushions, bedding, and curtains. We also cover any delicate surfaces to prevent damage during the cleaning process.
Step 3: Cleaning
We use a variety of cleaning products to deep clean the trailer. For the kitchen, we use a degreaser to remove any grease buildup on the stove and countertops. We also use a disinfectant to clean the sink and other surfaces.
In the bathroom, we use a specialized cleaner to remove any hard water stains on the shower walls and doors. We also use a disinfectant to clean the toilet and sink.
Step 4:
To deep clean the upholstery in the trailer, we use a steam cleaning method. This removes any dirt or stains from the upholstery without damaging the fabric. We also use a specialized cleaner to remove any stains on the carpet.
Step 5: Vent Cleaning
We also pay special attention to the vents in the trailer. Over time, dust and debris can accumulate in the vents, which can affect the air quality in the trailer. We use a specialized tool to remove any dirt or debris from the vents, ensuring that the air quality in the trailer is top-notch.
Step 6: Exterior Cleaning
In addition to deep cleaning the interior of the trailer, we also clean the exterior. We use a pressure washer to remove any dirt or grime from the exterior of the trailer. This helps to restore the trailer’s appearance and protect it from further damage.
Step 7: Final Inspection
After we have completed the deep clean, we conduct a final inspection to ensure that all surfaces are clean and free of any dirt or stains. We also check to ensure that all appliances and systems are working correctly.

Keeping the rooms clean on a regular basis can be difficult and exhausting, especially in areas frequented by a large number of people. PB Cleaning 247 has compiled a list of the best cleaning tips for you and your family to learn how to keep a house clean.
For example, the kitchen requires extensive maintenance because it is used at least three times per day. People prepare and consume food in the kitchen. As a result, it is easily soiled. Contrary to popular belief, the kitchen does not require the most cleaning. Bathrooms are unquestionably at the top of the list when it comes to regular cleaning. Surfaces must be cleaned every day to ensure their safety.
Cleaning it on a regular basis may not bother germaphobes, but it may be tedious for everyone else.
Unsanitary restrooms can cause a variety of infections and diseases in people of all ages. In dirty bathrooms, there are numerous germs, viruses, and microorganisms. They can survive on surfaces for weeks if the bathroom is not kept clean.
Safe and Protects Your Health
As previously stated, keeping a clean bathroom at all times is critical for your health. Germs have the ability to spread and produce an unpleasant odor that becomes more difficult to remove over time. Warm, moist environments are the primary source of living bacteria. They mature and grow if the restroom is dirty. You don’t want various viruses and bacteria to make your bathroom their home.
Furthermore, if you own a restaurant or a commercial space, you most likely want your customers to leave happy. According to a study of over 2000 people, the cleanliness of the bathroom is very important to every customer. Unsanitary restrooms tend to lose customers more quickly. What’s more interesting is that approximately 80% of the people passed this.
Cost-Effective
This one may appear strange at first, but consider it from a different perspective. Yes, you must hire a cleaning service to keep the bathroom clean at all times. However, another study found that commercial spaces with dirty bathrooms spend significantly more on toilet paper than clean ones.
Approximately 30% of respondents said they cover the toilet seat with extra toilet paper. The remaining 25% use it to flush the toilet and open doors. And the other half is squatting over the sink in the bathroom. People typically behave in this manner when they believe their health is in jeopardy.
Furthermore, every study participant stated that they were more cautious when using a clean restroom. They didn’t need to move things around with their legs and elbows; they just left it tidy. Many people are more likely to be reckless in an untidy bathroom and accidentally break something, leave a stain on the wall, or throw damp paper on the floor.
When you consider all of the above, you realize that an unclean bathroom will ultimately cost you more. You will need to constantly refill papers and repair anything that breaks.
Proper Cleaning Tools
Believe it or not, the first and most important step is to have the right toilet cleaners to give your toilet a deep clean without having to spend half a day there. If you use inferior cleaning products, you may end up cleaning all day. Some surfaces may still be dirty after cleaning. Don’t forget to wear gloves and bring your favorite disinfectant wipes.
Start With the Bowl
To clean the inside of the toilet, use high-quality products. They usually only take a few minutes to work and disinfect. However, this is one of the most important areas to clean. To get the best results, use your brush to scrub over the product under the rim and around the toilet bend. Finally, flush the toilet after a few minutes, and you’re done with the inside part.
The Exterior of the Toilet
While you wait for the product to thoroughly clean the toilet bowl, begin washing the outside of the toilet. The best and most effective method is to begin at the bottom of the bowl and work your way up. Examine the small area that is difficult to reach but appears to collect a lot of dust and filth. An old toothbrush is usually the most practical tool for cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
You can relax once you’ve reached the toilet seat because you’re almost done. There are thousands of wet tissues available for daily toilet seat sanitation. You simply need to select the one that is best for you. After using this product on the seat, it is usually necessary to leave it wet for a few minutes in order to kill all of the bacteria on the seat.
Dry it Out
The final step is to check for condensation and wipe it off with a paper towel if necessary. To prevent further bacteria from attaching to the surface, the area should be wiped clean with dry paper.
It won’t take you more than 10 minutes to complete the process, which isn’t a lot of time. When you consider how badly cleaning the bathroom and toilet can affect your health and the health of others, those few minutes are definitely worth it.
Cleaning your home can be time-consuming, and time is very valuable. We can take care of the cleaning for you.
Preparing your house for showings can sometimes feel like the buildup to Thanksgiving dinner or a family Christmas party.
Just like preparing for those holidays, there’s a lot of cleaning involved for the host. But instead of ending the ordeal with a large meal – and quality family time, of course – there’s no turkey or pumpkin pie at the end of this tunnel.
While cleaning is the most obvious step in preparing your house for showings, it’s only one of several things to do before inviting prospective buyers into your home.
Let’s find some tips offered by experts in cleaning
Deep Cleaning
As mentioned, this is the most important step. Make sure everything sparkles, from the hardwood floors and crystal-clear windows to the kitchen countertops and toilets.
Don’t forget the smaller details, either, such as taking out all the trash, doing a final dusting of the fireplace mantle and making sure all toiletries are tucked away in the medicine cabinet.
Be smart about what you cook the night before or the morning of a showing. That broccoli is certainly good for you and the bacon tasty, but the lingering smell might turn off others.
The same goes for candles or air fresheners. Smells are just like tastes in that everyone’s is different, so try to be as neutral as possible and think ahead so you’re not scrambling to cover up a smell at the last minute.
Remove Clutter
It can be difficult to set up your home like you’re a professional home stager, especially if you have pets and/or young children. But removing clutter is an absolute necessity before showings.
Fluff your throw pillows, fold and store all blankets and make sure all shoes are stored neatly in the closet. Speaking of closets …
Don’t Forget About Closets
It can be tempting to simply throw everything into a closet the night or an hour before a showing. Doing so certainly declutters the home, but don’t think second prospective buyers will simply walk by closets without opening them.
The amount of storage space a home offers can be a pivotal selling point for buyers, so they’ll definitely open them to see where they can store their shoes, winter clothes, and sporting equipment. Plus, many people are simply nosy or curious!
Highlight Key Areas
Kitchens are traditionally a big selling point, so make sure yours is spick and span. Put away all pots and pans, fold (clean) towels and scrub extra hard to remove all stains from the sink and grease from the oven.
Make sure the countertops are clean enough to eat on and, if you have an island, do the same.
Bathrooms are also important and, like kitchens, often areas where cleaning can be the most difficult. It’s also easy for them to quickly become dirty and undesirable, so make sure the sink, toilet and shower/bath are free of grime and sparkle.
Open concepts are becoming more and more popular. Outside of major renovations, however, there isn’t much you can do if your home wasn’t built that way.
You can, however, make it easier for prospective buyers and agents to walk through by rearranging the furniture to make the room more inviting and removing bigger pieces of furniture.
Also think about removing other large items that hinder sight lines and might make the space appear smaller than it is.
Step Into Their Shoes
This might be difficult, but try walking through the home as if you’re the prospective buyer.
What looks good? Bad? Does anything negative catch your eye or seem out of place?
You won’t catch everything but, chances are, if something doesn’t look right to you it definitely won’t look right to others.
Don’t Forget About Outside
Don’t overlook the importance of curb appeal. First impressions are key, and the first thing prospective buyers see when pulling up to the house.
Ensure the lawn and landscaping are well manicured and any loose sticks are picked up. Consider adding potted flowers for an extra boost and make sure the driveway and any walking paths are clean and clear of debris.
Provide Refreshments
Although you don’t have to leave out snacks, providing refreshments is a nice touch. Buyers who are going to several showings back-to-back often don’t have time to stop for food, so they’ll appreciate the gesture. Lay out some snacks and drinks that are easy to grab and go like water bottles, cans of soda, cookies, and granola bars.
Keep it Clean!
Hey, life happens and not all of us are Mr. Clean. But try to keep your home as show ready as possible so you’re always prepared for any unexpected showings.

How to quickly and easily clean a bathroom using supplies you already have at home.
1. Clean your shower with vinegar.
The secret to cleaning shower tiles is white vinegar, which can be found in your pantry.
After heating the vinegar in the microwave, spray it on while it is still hot. We recommend adding a spoonful of dish soap to the mixture if the scent bothers you because it can also help cut through thick dirt.
2. Scrub mildew with a dish brush.
If you want to get rid of mildew or surface mold from your bathroom, all you need is a new dish brush. Combine a quarter cup of bleach and six cups of warm water to make a mold-killing cleanser.
After scrubbing the walls with this solution, thoroughly rinse them with a bucket or a handheld shower head sprayer.
3. Get rid of mold stains with baking soda.
The difficult mold and mildew stains that your dish brush and bleach solution can’t remove should be treated with a paste made of baking soda and water. Before thoroughly rinsing, we recommend covering the discoloration with the paste and letting it sit for three to four hours.
4. Use baking soda and vinegar to deodorize a drain.
Any unpleasant odors coming from your drain can be quickly removed with a simple baking soda and vinegar solution.
The mixture of baking soda and vinegar begins to bubble, which can help break up any hardened grease in your drain. The drain should be flushed with hot water for half an hour after being poured with one cup of baking soda and two cups of white vinegar.
5. Use dental floss to clean the small parts of your sink.
Some areas of your sink are simply out of reach for the majority of cleaning tools.
Fortunately, your medicine cabinet has a solution: Dental floss can be used to clean the faucet’s handles and nooks and crannies.
6. Use dryer sheets to nix soap scum.
Are you having difficulty getting rid of soap scum in your bathtub or shower? Instead of a sponge, make use of a dryer sheet.
Rub the area gently with a dryer sheet that has been dampened with a few drops of water. After rinsing the residue, the majority of the scum should be removed.
7. Or use one to shine your faucets.
If your faucets are beginning to look worse for wear, a dryer sheet can help. Utilize dryer sheets to restore the luster of your chrome fixtures.
8. Use a denture tablet to clean your toilet.
Are you not up to cleaning the bathroom? The difficult work should then be delegated to a denture tablet. Drop one in the toilet bowl, let it work, and then flush it to get rid of rust and stains.
9. Squeegee your bathroom window.
You are having difficulty using your standard glass cleaner to clean the bathroom window. Instead, using a squeegee can make it easier to keep those windows clean.
10. Rub the lemon over the chrome to wipe off water spots.
In places where water is constantly flowing, like the shower and the sink, water stains are inevitable; however, removing them is surprisingly simple and inexpensive. Apply lemon juice to tarnished chrome fixtures, and the problematic stains should disappear immediately. Additionally, any unpleasant odors will be covered up by citrus cleaner.
11. Give the toilet a deep clean with the help of a screwdriver.
While your toilet is unquestionably one of the dirtiest fixtures in your home, it is also one of the most difficult to clean. The next time, you’ll be able to clean the hard-to-reach areas under the tank and around the screws with a little help from your toolbox. To get into those hard-to-reach crevices, simply remove the toilet’s seat and lid, and then use a screwdriver with one end wrapped in a disinfectant wipe.
12. Restore your mirror’s shine with black tea.
You want your bathroom mirror to be spotless so you can see how you really look before you leave, but water stains, dust, and other debris often get in the way. The answer? Green tea! To clean your cloudy mirror, all you need to do is combine a few bags of black tea with a cup of boiling water, let it cool, and then use the solution. The tea’s tannic acid will get rid of any dirt, giving you a spotless surface that doesn’t lie.
13. Put your toothbrush holder in the dishwasher.
It’s easy to let your toothbrush holders get disgusting. The only part of cleaning the attachment that requires a lot of effort is putting it in the dishwasher. Oh, that’s all there is!
14. Sweep your bathtub clean.
Using a sponge to scrub the entire bathtub is a waste of time. Instead, cover it with soap, scrub it with a clean broom, and then thoroughly rinse it to get rid of all the suds. The colossal long-taken-care of brush will require a portion of the work to use than a wipe, however, the brush will clean comparably well.
15. Use nail polish to prevent rust.
Shaving cream and soap dispensers made of metal that sit on your sink or in your shower are more likely to rust, resulting in difficult-to-remove stains. However, you can easily remove stains by painting a coat or two of clear nail polish around the rims of any rust-prone objects if you don’t want to spend time washing them off.
16. Soak your shower head in vinegar.
Are you having issues with a clogged showerhead? Clean it up with a nice soak in vinegar. While you clean the rest of the bathroom, simply remove your shower head and place it in a sealed plastic bag with vinegar. The vinegar will already have broken down all the dirt when you are ready to attack it, making your work easier.
17. Use cotton balls to clean pesky bathtub corners.
The corners of the tub are typically the most difficult to clean. Fortunately, this can be easily fixed, and you probably already have it in your medicine cabinet. After soaking the cotton balls in your preferred tub cleanser, simply leave them on the tub’s borders overnight. In the morning, those tub edges will be spotless!
18. Combine baking soda and bleach to clean the grout.
Grout, which is used to fill in the spaces between tiles, looks nice when it is clean. However, dirt can easily get into those small cracks, making otherwise clean bathroom walls look dirty. To reveal walls that are spotlessly clean, apply a paste made of 3/4 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup bleach to the grout, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then scrub it off with a scrub brush or cloth. The color of your tiles and the spaces between them will be restored as a result of this.
19. Bleach away marble stains.
Bleach is a straightforward method for removing stains from marble surfaces in your bathroom. Simply cover the stained area overnight with a bleach-soaked paper towel and a cup; In the morning, the stain should disappear. If the bleach does end up harming your marble, try this first in a safe place.
